I just found this site while participating on a Twitter 5thchat. It has a wealth of 2.0 tools for you to use with students in the classroom. You have to check this out! BTW- If you are not signed up on Twitter you are missing out on some of the best professional resources out there.
Wow! You just made my week! I'll be able to spend days going through this site and trying them all out. THANK YOU!

Do you ever get tech overload? Since I teach my class their technology, I wonder if I should hit on a lot of tools, or get good at one, two, or three? We do meet every day for 20-30 minutes, so there's time unlike the rest of my building which has computer class once a week.
ReplyDeleteAny thoughts on this? I just blogged about this today.

I am definitely going to have Tech overload this coming year, especially with all the new technology I am getting for my classroom (See my first post). I am going to start off slow, though. I really need to instill in my students respect for the equipment first. Then we will move on to Tagxedo for the first week and maybe even a powerpoint related to an "All About Me" project.

ReplyDeleteCollaborating sounds like a fun project to work on this school year. Any ideas? I haven't used Edmodo or Skype...and this might be a good excuse to learn...but I do like to blog.
I'll have 22 students and we begin school on the 17th of Aug...YIKES not that far away.
