Oh, my goodness!! Thank you SO much for posting this! I had totally forgotten about the launch. Because of your post, my 82 year old mother, 17 year old daughter and myself caught the last 2 minutes of the countdown--and the launch! We would have been SICK if we'd missed it! Thanks for posting!
My family and I visited Nasa's Kennedy Space Center last Friday. We saw Atlantis on the launching pad. Today we watched from home. It is so awesome to see history in the making. Delena Learn with ME in Grade Three
